7 DAY OPTION 2
Monday 8th January – Sunday 14th January 2018

Day 1 Monday 8th January UK – Israel
This is a unique trip to visit Israel at the very beginning of their 70th year back in their promised land where they are to stay forever according to Amos 9:15 “And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God”. Israel became a nation in 1948. It will be wonderful to see Israel at 70 years since independence. Our inspiration will be Psalm 122:6 “pray for the peace of Jerusalem they shall that love thee”. We are going to bless Israel by spending our time, money and praying in a blessed one week holiday there in the very first month of the new year 2018. It will be part of our prayer time and rededication for the new year while in Israel at the wailing wall. We will depart UK for Israel the Holy Land on Monarch budget flight from Manchester Meeting and assistance at Ben Gurion Airport Transfer to Prima Hotel Tel Aviv with beach front by the Mediterranean sea for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Tuesday 9th January The Galilee
After breakfast we can enjoy a small walk by the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, Enjoy the breeze and pick up some sea shells. We will visit Simon Tanner’s house (Acts 9) , the place where Jonah took a ship to Tarshish (Jonah 1:1-3) and where Tabitha lived and did her good deeds and almsgiving and was raised back to life after death (Acts 9:36). We then proceed to Caesarea Maratini where the Holy Ghost fell for the first time on the gentiles (Acts 10:44-48, see the arena, water works and watch a movie of the history of Caesarea. From here we proceed to Mount Carmel where Elijah lived (1 Kings 17:1). View the valley of Jezreel from the top of the mountain. Also visit Elijah’s cave. We visit Tel Megiddo the site of the final battle of Armageddon (Rev. 16:16). We will watch the movie about the history of Megiddo and walk to the ancient water works of Megiddo. After Lunch we move onward to Nazareth and Cana. Visit the Basilica of the Annunciation see the Cave – home of the Holy Family, St Joseph’s workshop and Mary’s Well. VISIT NARARETH VILLAGE WHERE THEY HAVE RECREATED HOW LIFE WAS 2000 YEARS AGO. Drive to Cana, and visit the church of the Wedding Feast – site of Jesus’ first miracle. Renewal of Wedding Vows for married couples on the trip. Taste and buy some wine from Cana. Dinner and overnight stay in Tiberias at our hotel Prima Galilee Hotel

Day 3 Wednesday 10th January The Galilee
We start our day by climbing to the top of the Golan Heights to the little village city on the Golan Heights and enjoy the unique geographical views of the Golan Heights from a volcanic mountain top stop by an agricultural Kibbutz in the Golan Heights to be told the story and history of the Golan heights and watch a movie of the Galilee experience. We visit and see the road to Damascus where Paul met with the Lord. We visit Mt Hermon drive close to Mt Hermon (Psalm 133). We then visit Tel Dan where Jeroboam reared some altars and committed his sins 1 Kings12 & 13. We proceed to Caesarea Philippi where one of the sources of the Jordan River starts and where Jesus asked the disciples who do man say that I am and Peter said thou at the Christ the son of the living GOD. Matthew 16. We then descend the mountain and stop over at the Mount of Beatitudes and recall the sermon on the mountain. Drive along by the Sea of Galilee to take a Boat trip across the Sea of Galilee by sailing on the Sea of Galilee in a replica of a boat 2000 years ago, we will read relevant Bible readings. While in the boat we point out at the biblical cursed cities Magdala, Chorazin, Bethsaida and Capernaum. Return to Capernaum to visit the old Synagogue and see St Peters house.

Day 4 Thursday 11th January Jericho – Jerusalem
Start the day By visiting a Botanical nature reserve and each one will plant a tree in Israel fulfilling holy scripture Isaiah 41:19 ( “I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together: 20 That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.” we proceed to the site of the Transfiguration on Mount Tabor and ascend by taxi at the church of the Transfiguration. We enjoy seeing the Jezreel valley and Tel Jezreel and the place of Naboth’s vineyards, We will visit Herod’s well or Gideon’s well where he chose his warriors by the way they drank water (Judges7). our next stop will be Jacob’s well in Shekem we point at Mt Gerizim we then proceed to Shiloh the ancient capital of Israel where we remember the story of Samuel in the old city of Shiloh the old capital of Israel for 369 years.(Gen 49:10, Judges 21:19 and 1 Sam 1-3) We pass by Tel Gilgal where Joshua erected 12 memorial stones Joshua 4:19-20 Visit Jericho (Num. 22:1, Josh 2:1, 6:20) the ancient city climb by cable cars to Mt Temptation and have a good overview of Jericho, See Elisha’s well 2 Kings 2:19-22. After lunch in Jericho Continue to the Baptismal site by the River Jordan. This is the same place where John the Baptist baptised Jesus Christ Matt. 3:13-17 . Same place where prophets Elijah and Elisha parted the waters 2 Kings 2:8. Here we have an opportunity to baptise those who want to be baptized, We proceed to the Dead Sea – The lowest place on Earth, and enjoy a “dip” and float in the dead sea by our hotel in the Prima Hotel by the dead sea.

Day 5 Friday 12th January – Jerusalem
In the morning we have a time to float in the dead sea before breakfast then We start our day by climbing Masada by cable cars to see the last fortress of the Jewish people during the Rome revolt. We will see what David meant by fortress and rock in (Psalms 18:1-33) We visit En Gedi Oasis this time we visit the oasis have an opportunity to see and hear the history of En Gedi we will walk up half the mountain and visit the showers where David’s men would shower during the day and experience the strongholds of En Gedi (1Samuel 23:29 &24:1-22), then proceed to Qumran where the dead sea scrolls were found and we see a movie of the discoveries that were made at Qumran. After Lunch In Qumran we Drive by the Inn of the Good Samaritan, to Bethany and visit Tomb of Lazarus. Drive to nearby Mount of Olives for group photo, and view the Old City of Jerusalem “(Luke 19:41-44) Jesus looked and wept over the city of Jerusalem (Luke13:34-35)”. From there descend to the Garden of Gethsemane. Visit the temple Institute where they are preparing to build the third temple in Jerusalem Finish our day by visiting the Davidson centre where we see a movie of the ancient visitor to the temple and Jerusalem after this we have a time of prayer at the wailing wall. Proceed to our Hotel in Jerusalem. We may have supper with a Jewish family and do the Shabbat shalom experience

Day 6 Saturday 13th January Old City
Walk around Mount Zion and visit the old city of David see a 3D movie of Jerusalem 3000 years ago, and Room of the Last Supper. We then proceed to Caiaphas house and see where he was put in dungeons and read about his sufferings in Psalm 88:6 and see for ourselves where it was fulfilled. We visit the Pool of Siloam (John 9:7) and the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:2) . we visit the Pilate’s judgement hall, follow the Walk the Via Dolorosa to the church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Rock of Calvary and visit the garden tomb. After lunch Drive to Bethlehem and visit the Shepherds Fields. Visit the church of the Nativity and see the birthplace of Jesus and the Holy Manger. See the tomb of Rachel on the way. Visit to the Milk Grotto. After dinner, visit the Jerusalem shopping mall.

Day 7 Sunday 14th January
In the morning we proceed to Hebron to the cave of Machpelah, (Genesis 23:9-20) to see where the patriarchs were buried Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We have a chance to see the western wall tunnels .We see the Jerusalem Museum and the Holocost memorial.
In the afternoon we prepare for departure to the airport for our afternoon flight home en route to the airport visit Ein Kerem the birthplace of John the Baptist and also Emmaus. Depart with Monarch flight to Manchester
