Last month we attended the CRE (Christian Resources Exhibition) at Sandown Park in Esher. It was a poignant affair. It was their 30th Anniversary and the last CRE exhibition at Sandown. The exhibition was extremely well supported and it is great for us, as we see so many friends and also make new ones. It felt that a large number of the visitors came for the last time! But as one door closes, another one opens – next year the exhibition will be in ExCel 19th – 22nd May 2015 and with all the exhibitors on one floor, there are huge expectations; not forgetting a catchments area of 700,000 potential visitors!
The exhibition organisers said that already 50% of the stands have been sold – so they must be doing something right
We will be there on stand A1. One thing for sure, it will be a different driving experience to and from Manchester!
The next Christian Resources Exhibition is at home!! Here in Manchester on 8th & 9th October at Event City, which is adjacent to the Trafford Centre. We already have the link for complimentary tickets – please click here for your tickets
Last month there was a Papal visit to Israel. How wonderful is that? It creates more interest and as a result more pilgrims will follow is His footsteps.
Recently, I have been warning group leaders that if they do not book their Holy Land pilgrimage group early, then they will have a lesser chance of getting accommodation in their first choice hotel. We saw this happening because of the huge demand and the ever-increasing trend of late group bookings. Some leaders are changing their itineraries around in order to still try and get the preferred hotel – albeit to no avail in some cases. So book early or be flexible!
