ROME – KRAKOW – LAGIEWNIKI
Flight to Krakow. Arrival and after lunch start sightseeing tour of the city and departure toLagiewniki: visit to the Divine Mercy Sanctuary, home to the tomb of St. Faustina Kowalska. Tour of the Sanctuary, consecrated by Pope John Paul II. Accommodation and overnight in Krakow.
KRAKOW – WIELICZKA
Tour of Krakow continues with the Market Square, the Church of the Virgin Mary, the Town Hall Tower and the Cloth Hall. The tour includes a visit to Wawel Hill, on the waters of the Vistola, with views of the Royal Castle and the Cathedral. After lunch, departure for Wieliczka with a tour of the famous rock salt mines, the oldest mines in Poland, where salt has been mined for more than a thousand years. Return to Krakow, dinner at local restaurant and overnight.
KALWARIA ZEBRZYDOWSKA – WADOWICE – AUSCHWITZ
In the morning, transfer to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska with a tour of the Sanctuary, Poland’s most important sanctuary after Jasna Gora. Onward travel to Wadowice, hometown of Pope John Paul II, with a visit to the Pope’s “memorabilia” on exhibit. Tour of the Basilica of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In the afternoon, transfer to Auschwitz and tour of the concentration camp. Onward travel to Czestochowa . Accommodation and overnight.
In the morning, tour of Jasna Gora Monastery, home to the Black Madonna, a pilgrimage site and a symbolic place for Polish Catholics and time for prayer. In the afternoon, travel to Warsaw, accommodation and overnight.
Morning city tour: the Old City, the Castle Square, St. John’s Cathedral, the Barbakan Tower. In the afternoon, walk in Lazienki Park and time available. Dinner in a traditional restaurant.
WARSAW – ROME
In the morning, visit in the Church of St. Stanislaus, home to the tomb of Father Jerzy Popieluszko, and the museum dedicated to him. Transfer to the airport for departure home.

Depart Manchester on the direct Monarch service leaving at 09.55 and arriving at 17.15hrs. Meeting and assistance by the ITS Pilgrimages representative and transfer to your hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Wednesday- Old Jerusalem – Bethlehem
Commence the day with a visit to Bethlehem. Visit Manger Square, the Church of The Nativity, view Shepherd’s Field and you will have an opportunity to buy some olive wood souvenirs from a Christian owned gift shop. Return to the Old city of Jerusalem, visit the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus healed the blind man. Visit St Anne’s Church, (many consider this church enjoys the best acoustics in the Holy Land). You will walk the Via Dolorosa, (The Way of the Cross) ending in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. End the day at the Garden Tomb. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 3 Thursday Jerusalem – Tiberias
Full day touring on transfer to Tiberias. Starting the day at the Western Wall, Room of the Last Supper on Mt Zion and then drive to Jericho the lowest city on Earth. See the Sycamore Tree and the Mt of Temptation. Drive up the Jordan Valley for your dinner and overnight stay in Tiberias.
Day 4 Friday Sea of Galilee
Start the day with viewing the ancient boat found in the Sea of Galilee that dates back to the time of Jesus, and then enjoy a boat ride on the Lake. Visit the Mt of Beatitudes, the traditional site of the Sermon on the Mount. Onwards to Tabgha, the site that commemorates Jesus’s miracle of the Fishes and the Loaves. See Mensa Christi – Peter’s Primacy on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Visit the ruins of Capernaum and see St Peter’s House and the Synagogue where it is said Jesus preached. End the day at Yardent – on the shores of the Jordan River. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias
Day 5 Saturday Tiberias – Manchester
Sightseeing on transfer to Ben Gurion Airport – visit Nazareth and the Mediterranean port where Paul set sail on his journeys – Caesarea Maratima. Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport at 15.30 for your departure on Monarch at 18.25, which arrives in Manchester at 22.10hrs.
