PILGRIMAGE TO THE HOLY LAND
UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF
REV RON CORNE, REV. GYULA FIAK & REV. SUSAN ROWE

1st – 8th November 2019

Gyula Fiak

Hello! My name is Gyula ( Joe) Fiak. I am a Hungarian who has been living in the UK for more than 8 years. I work as a minister of the Methodist church. I have always been fascinated by the world of the Bible, both Old and New Testaments. It is one thing to read about events and places in the Bible and study them through books, but it is quite another thing to be there where all these things happened. After visiting the land of Israel I could read my Bible way differently because I was there.

The reason why I want to lead a tour is very simple. I would like to help others to experience the land of Israel and also to be there for them as they try to process the spiritual happenings within their hearts. Please do not forget- the Holy Land is a powerful place spiritually- it will have an effect on everyone.

Sue Rowe

I am a Methodist minister working in Manchester, with a particular interest in the Bible and how we can make the world of the Bible come alive for people.

I decided to visit Israel last year, because I wanted to visit the places we read about so often. It made a big difference to my understanding, and I found walking where Jesus walked a powerful experience. Even though many pilgrimage sites are busy, it is still possible to rest in a sense of Jesus’ presence.

This is something I wanted to share with others.

Revd. Ron Corne

I have been a Church of England Priest for 30 years, I have served as Rector in a number of parishes in the UK as well as Area Dean of Romsey for 7 years. I am currently assisting in the Diocese of Winchester both looking after cover for services and am non-stipendiary Retirement Officer for Winchester Diocese. I also serve in the Diocese of Europe recently assisting in Portugal and Tenerife.

I have visited Israel and the Holy Land over many years having both led and been part of groups visiting these incredible sites. I would encourage anyone to come along for this life changing experience.
