DAY 1 – UK – Israel

Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport, where our local representatives, Diesenhaus – Unitours will help you with formalities. Transfer to hotel for overnight stay in Tel Aviv

DAY 2 – Tel Aviv – Tiberias

Depart the hotel to visit Jaffa, the town where Peter lodged with Simon the Tanner. Drive along the coastal road to Caesarea and view the ruins of this Roman and Crusader stronghold. Continue to Mt. Carmel and visit the Stella Maris Church adjacent to the cave of Elijah. Drive to Nazareth where Jesus spent his boyhood and visit the House of Joseph and the Church of Annunciation (Mass). The last stop today will be Cana, site of the First Miracle. Married couples will have a chance to renew their wedding vows.Dinner and overnight stay in Tiberias

DAY 3 – Tiberias – Capernaum – Tiberias

Begin the day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ Ministry and see the ruins of an ancient synagogue. Drive to Tabgha (Mass) and visit the site where the Miracle of the Loaves and Fish took place and St. Peter’s Primacy where Jesus appeared after the resurrection. Drive to the Mt. of Beatitudes, site of the “Sermon on the Mount” and take some time for personal meditation. Travel though Upper Galilee to Beit Saida and then return to Tiberias.Dinner and overnight stay in Tiberias

DAY 4 – Tiberias – Jerusalem

After checking out of the hotel, stop at Yardenit on the shores of the Jordan River to renew Baptismal promises. Visit Mt. Tabor, (Mass) site of the Transfiguration. Drive through the Jordan River Valley Rift to the excavations in Beit Shean, a Roman city of the Decapolis. Continue to Jericho, the oldest city in the world and view the Mount of Temptation. Ascend the Judean Hills. Visit Bethany and the Tomb of Lazarus. Continue onto Jerusalem.Dinner and overnight stay in Jerusalem

DAY 5 – Jerusalem

Begin today’s tour on the Mt. of Olives for a breath taking view of Jerusalem. Then walk the traditional Palm Sunday path to Dominus Flavit Chapel (Mass), the Church of All Nations and the Garden of Gethsemane. Time will be given for prayers. Cross the Kidron Valley and visit Mt. Zion and the Room of the Last Supper. Continue through the Cardo in the Jewish Quarter and walk the Via Dolorosa, the 14 Stations of the Cross, beginning at the Ecce Homo Convent and ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulchure. Later in the afternoon drive to Bethlehem and visit the Church of Nativity and the milk grotto.Dinner and overnight stay in Jerusalem


DAY 6 – Jerusalem

Today will be begin at the Shrine of the Book at the Israel Museum and also the scale model of Jerusalem in Jesus’ time. Drive to Yad Vashem, the Museum and Memorial to the Holocaust. In the afternoon visit Ein Karem and the Church of the Visitation (Mass).Dinner and overnight stay in Jerusalem

DAY 7 – Jerusalem – Dead Sea – Jerusalem

Depart Jerusalem and descend the Judean Wilderness, via the Inn of the Good Samaritan, to the lowest place on earth – the Dead Sea. Drive along the shore to Masada and ascend by cable car. Tour this mountaintop fortress which was the last stronghold of the Jews against the Romans. Drive to a nearby oasis and relax and enjoy an opportunity to “float” in the Dead Sea. Before returning to Jerusalem, visit the Qumran Caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Mass will be celebrated at the hotel.Dinner and overnight stay in Jerusalem

DAY 8 – Israel – UK

Leave Jerusalem and transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your flight home to the UK.
